ABOUT MARTHA'S VINEYARD
Martha’s Vineyard is an enchanted place.
The Climate
The climate is temperate. Summertime is warm and sunny, but not too hot, and wintertime is mild but not too cold. It’s that type of weather that makes you want to be outside anytime.
And the scenery is amazing. It’s like something from the movies: beautiful beaches, fresh water, rolling hills, and lush green forests. It’s as if nature has just decided to put on a show, and you’re right there in the front row.
Things to do
Because of the mild climate, you can spend the day lounging on the beach or taking an exhilarating hike through one of the many forests. There are also plenty of opportunities for boat trips and fishing. We also have a great farmers market that is well worth a visit.
The Culture
Martha’s Vineyard has a rich cultural scene and many opportunities for exploration. There’s something for just about everyone, from the famous Martha’s Vineyard Film Festival to the M.V. Museum.
And let’s not forget the food, oh, the food. The Island is home to some of the best seafood you’ll ever taste (that’s a promise). Pair it with a wine from one of the local vineyards and you’re in for a treat.
And Boston is just a ferry ride away if you want to explore further.
